Modify a single check
If you select an existing check and
you don't like the behaviour of the plugin, you can do some simple modifications.
Figure 1: Modifying a single
check during runtime
You can do these selections manually:
-
Protocol - Specify another transport
protocol (TCP or UDP). UDP support is not included yet. Other protocols
(e.g. ICMP) may be added in future.
-
Port - Specify another port number.
The values between 0 and 65535 are allowed. You will get an error message
if a wrong value is entered.
-
Request - Specify the command procedure
to force a reaction of the server. The different commands are separated
by the pipe symbol "|". Every connection attemp begins with the open commando.
The sleep commando provides the functionality of a sleep. The send commando
allowes you to send a string over the established connection. With the
close commando the connection can be closed and the socket freed again.
-
Trigger - Specify a trigger to verify
the potential existence of the flaw. This is a simple string. If he can
be found in the server reply the bug is classified as existent. Regulary
expressions are not included yed.
If you want more information on how
to edit a plugin in detail, please read the documentation "Write
a plugin manually".
The modifications are thrown away
after selecting another plugin or closing the ATK.
