Entropia Project generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance |
Introduction | News | Documentation | Download | Contact |
The goal of the Entropia Project is to develop systematic strategies and methodologies to do (semi-)automated analysis of (pseudo-)random generated values. The basic idea is to create a framework which is able to dissect lists of random values. This could be hash values, session ids or TAN lists. By identifying patterns the underlying algorithms shall be revealed. This makes it possible to launch target-oriented attacks on the values. Further analysis makes it possible to find flaws in the generation of the random values (e.g. repeating patterns). ![]() Screenshot of an early beta version analyzing a TAN list |
